Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Flinqit’s websites, mobile apps, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who may use Flinqit

You must be at least 16 years old to use Flinqit. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. If you use Flinqit on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

Your account

• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may sign in using email, Google, or Sign in with Apple. Authentication is handled through Amazon Cognito as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You can delete your account at any time from within the app or from Profile › Security.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to Flinqit (your Folio, posts, comments, messages, photos, and other materials). You grant Flinqit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service (for example, showing your published profile at /u/<your-id>). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained as required by law or for a limited period in routine backups.

You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the rights to share it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Flinqit to:

• post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users;
• infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
• distribute spam, malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users without their consent.

Flinqit has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You can report content or users from within the app, and we may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We aim to review reports promptly.

Intellectual property

Flinqit and its logos, software, and design are owned by Flinqit and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Flinqit’s trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including Amazon Web Services, Google Sign-In, and Apple Sign in) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses for already-shared content, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flinqit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post material changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
